Lyhyt kuvaus itsestäsi
Atte Oksanen (YTT, FM, dos.) on sosiaalipsykologian professori ja tutkimusvaradekaani yhteiskuntatieteiden tiedekunnassa Tampereen yliopistossa. Oksanen johtaa uusia teknologioita sosiaalipsykologisesta näkökulmasta tarkastelevaa Emerging Technologies Labia. Hänen tutkimuksensa keskittyvät nykyisin teknologisiin ympäristöihin, addiktioihin ja rikollisuuteen. Oksanen on tehnyt aiempaa tutkimusta esimerkiksi verkkovihasta ja häirinnästä ja vakavasta kohdennetusta väkivallasta. Oksasella on yli 350 tutkimusjulkaisua, joista yli 200 on vertaisarvioituja journaalijulkaisuja. Oksasen tutkimuksia ovat rahoittaneet Suomen Akatemia, Koneen säätiö, Aaltosen säätiö, Suomen kulttuurirahasto, Alkoholitutkimussäätiö, Työsuojelurahasto, Helsingin Sanomain säätiö, Wihurin Rahasto, Liikesivistysrahasto ja Alli Paasikiven säätiö. Hänen kansainvälisten hankkeidensa rahoittajina ovat toimineet esimerkiksi Pohjoismaiden kriminologinen yhteistyöneuvosto, Norjan tutkimusneuvosto ja National Science Foundation (U.S.). Oksanen toimi Suomen Akatemiassa Kulttuurin ja yhteiskunnan tutkimuksen toimikunnan jäsenenä (2022–2024) ja jatkaa edelleen Tutkimusinfrastuurikomitean jäsenenä (2022–2025).
