Research
Tampere University’s research community is among the frontrunners in addressing interdisciplinary research on urban environments with a focus on sustainable transformation. The community has some 50 professors and senior researchers working in the area. Our numbers include experts from multiple fields such as medicine, psychology, architecture, policy studies, history, gerontology, social work, management and organisational studies, and transportation research.
