STUE is seeking two interns to help us further develop the concept of Tampere Urban Lab and students' working-life integration.

Tampere Urban Lab aims to be a collaborative platform that builds upon and formalizes the existing teaching and external engagement of the Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) programme’s Urban Lab courses, and the cooperation between the university and external societal stakeholders. Its objective is to involve students, researchers, municipalities, companies, NGOs and citizens in addressing urban development challenges in the Tampere Region and beyond through education (Urban Lab 1 & 2), research, and societal engagement. In doing so, it will act as a platform for external stakeholders to shape research and teaching, provide students practical experience studying real-life challenges and networking opportunities, and provide a forum for engagement between the university and external partners. The Tampere Urban Lab has the potential to become a dynamic co-production ecosystem that integrates teaching, research, and societal collaboration.
