2nd Transnational Meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam. 8th to 11th January 2020

Beautiful and busy Hanoi enchanted the project consortium

The 2nd Transnational meeting of DigiCare Project was held in Hanoi Medical College from the 8th to 11th January 2020 with the title of “Educating Students for Digitalized Health Care and Coaching of Patients – Digicare”. The aims of the meeting were to report the results from the initial literature review by each partner university and introduce the dissemination plan as well as to plan the work to the 3rd meeting in Coimbra, Portugal and the 4th meeting in Bangladesh.

From the day one, each partner reported the results of the first step in doing their literature reviews. The literature reviews were presented in vary ways. There was no wrong and correct answer in presenting the results of the literature reviews. What we have gained so far that we need to have the template to keep things simple and easy to follow.

The second day, we discussed about the work that we had to prepare for the meeting in Coimbra, Portugal and Dhaka, Bangladesh. That was grateful to have the discussion section on the second day. The Tamk partner and Portugal team helped us to improve the skills in doing literature reviews. The other important things also discussed about the publications and how to get the copyright of all publications.

In the morning of the third day, we have a visit at Dong Anh General Hospital, Dong Anh district, Hanoi, Vietnam. The broad directors of the hospital were very kind to us. They provided a lot of information about the hospital and also information related to high technology that they had implemented to the patients. We also had a little time to gather a lunch together with staff from the Dong Anh General Hospital to explore some of the Vietnamese food.

In the afternoon of the third day, we have a little time to visit Co Loa Citadel. We were excited to go there and had a little time to explore Vietnamese culture. That was a great opportunity for us to visit Co Loa Citadel and to know more Vietnamese culture. We also have a little time to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. That was great to see many people there who were waiting in a line to visit the Mausoleum.

In addition, we were invited in the social dinner that hosted by Hanoi Medical College. They provided various types of food to us. We have enjoyed every moment that we had with Vietnamese Team.

Working with our Partners of the DigiCare Project in Hanoi Medical College is great as we have clearly stated what we need to do to create DigiCare Model for Asian Partners. We also carefully planned the work that need to be done for the following meetings in Coimbra and Dhaka.
