The DigiCare Asia project got started in June 2019 through an online meeting of all partners. A style which well suits a project that aims to work on digitalization in Health Care sector, specially in support of patient self-management.
Digital tools made it possible to meet with partners from different parts of the world and get to know each other. That was one of the main outcomes of the first meeting, as well as sharing common understanding on the first steps of the project, administrative and management policies and formation of the steering committee.
The international teams were highly motivated and excited to start project work together for the next three years, and were waiting forward meeting in Hanoi in September physically not only virtually.
Online meetings between partners are held regularly and upon need. Often, short meeting through video conference enables to exchange viewpoints, clarify matters and to reach common understanding far more effective than written emails. This requires also constant learning to make best use of the tools, platforms and applications available.
