If a participating family wishes to withdraw from the study before data collection or analysis has begun, they can do so without explanation, and any data already collected will be immediately destroyed.
If data analysis for a specific publication has already started, that part of data can still be used for the publication, but no new publications will be initiated using the family’s data. The data will be destroyed as soon as it is no longer needed for the publication.
