5th Transnational meeting in Coimbra Feb 3.-6.2020

The fifth Transnational Meeting of the DigiNurse project, Learning ICT Supported Nursing for Self-Management of Patients, was held in Coimbra, Portugal, on last February 3-6, 2020.

In this meeting, the work plan comprised an update of the DigiNurse project and the presentation and discussion of the development and the final written report of the DigiNurse Model. In this scope, the consortium conducted a group activity related to the DigiNurse Model, where the concepts and the structure were discussed.

Furthermore, a presentation of an update of the DigiNurse Model Piloting was conducted by each partner institution, as well as, a presentation of the DigiNurse Project Indicators and Dissemination and Exploitation.

In the second day of the meeting, the DigiNurse project consortium visited Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra (CHUC), where two Registered Nurses of the Rheumatology ward of CHUC conducted a presentation regarding the “Technology implementation in the self-management of chronic diseases”.

At the end of the meeting, the consortium discussed the DigiNurse project Action Plan by the end of the project and planned the next activities.

This Strategic Partnership Erasmus+ project, co-funded by the European Union Erasmus+ Program, is represented by the Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finland), the project coordinator institution, and Nursing School of Coimbra (Portugal), Thomas More University of Applied Sciences (Belgium), Karelia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), and University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), as partner institutions.
