Performance of advanced high-strength steels concerning fatigue, fracture, and hydrogen
Wednesday 24.11. 12.55 – Central European Time (CET), Finnish time +1 h.
The growing global interest towards tough and hydrogen resistant high-strength steels demands thorough understanding of the origins of their performance through the size-scales. This webinar brings a cross-cutting insight into current advances on the field.
The webinar is arranged by The Centre for Advanced Steels Research (CASR). CASR forms a national centre of expertise focusing on the chemical, mechanical and physical metallurgy of steels, including control and information engineering and modelling. CASR covers about 100 researchers located in nine research groups from three faculties of the University of Oulu and from LUT University.
The webinar is free of charge and arranged on-line (Zoom). The participation link will be sent for the registered participants. Please, register here.
