On March 31, 2026, the 8th edition of the Interuniversity Student Scientific Conference with international participation took place, under the theme “Building Peace in the Context of Global Challenges: Interdisciplinary Approaches and Sustainable Solutions,” organized by the Department of International Relations.
The conference brought together young researchers from both national and international institutions, who delivered valuable presentations on security, diplomacy, peace education, and international cooperation.
Opening and welcoming remarks were delivered by Alexandru Solcan, Dean of FRIȘPA, Cristina Ejov, Head of the Department of International Relations, and Professor Valentina Teosa, National Coordinator of the PeaceEdu project.
The conference was moderated by Dr. Cristina Morari.
The event unfolded in an interactive, dynamic, and productive manner, addressing research topics such as conflict resolution and peaceful transformation, confidence-building measures, the role of international and regional organizations in maintaining global peace, and peace education.
The conference was organized within the framework of the international project PeaceEdu, aiming to promote peace education and strengthen academic cooperation.
