About

NewWorkTech addresses the need to break down accessibility barriers in the labour market that affects one fourth of Europeans who have a disability (101 million people). During the project, the researchers will also shed light on innovative and responsible uses of emergent technologies.

Goal

The Horizon Europe project NewWorkTech aims to improve the accessibility and inclusion of the world of work and promote the rights and equality of people with disabilities adhering to the principle of ‘nothing about us without us’.

Impact

The project brings together expertise in the social sciences, humanities and engineering with the common goal to contribute to a more inclusive future of work.

NewWorkTech is a three-year project (start date 1 December 2024 – end date 30 November 2027) funded by the European Union.
