Study Report: InnoHEIs project meeting
May 9-11, 2022, Vilnius
Lithuanian representatives warmly welcomed us and all other InnoHEIs representatives and visitors. All together more than 30 participants from seven European countries gathered to the onsite Partner Meeting and Peer Review on 9-11 May 2022. The three days were fully packed with interesting presentations and study visits. Targeting common vision of knowledge sharing and creation of experiences how to speed up innovations.
The agenda of the three-day meeting consisted of following theme’s and activities
Day one:
R&I policy and innovation practices in Lithuania, R&I capacities and infrastructure from stakeholders’ perspective including e.g. prentations about green deal and university collaboration
Day two:
Study visits to Visoriai Information Technology Park with highlight of Visit to Technology company BOD GROUP where we were introduced to production of solar panels. BOD GROUP is technology company, which covers 3 major areas: solar technology company of renewable solar energy (SoliTek), ophthalmic lenses (Bod Lenses) and CD / DVD / LP manufacturing (BOD).
Second study visit took place in Saulėtekis (Sunrise) valley (Venue: Saulėtekio 7, Vilnius): Life Science Center of Vilnius University Technological business incubator. There, several interesting laboratory visits took place and we were pleased to see state of the art reseach work in the field of Life Sciences.
Day 3
Steering committee meeting where InnoHEIs Project Leader, Rima R. Dijkstra from Hanze University of Applied Sciences summarised the Project Staus and closed the meeting after round table inputs. The day concluded with Vilnus City historic tour and Visit to Vilnius University
