Through Hidden Gems activities, we create opportunities for community building, networking and professional growth, where international spouses can share experiences, exchange ideas and get to know Tampere.

Welcome to our community for spouses
At Tampere University (TAU), we understand that relocation with a family requires a lot from the whole family. Since 2018, our spouse programme Hidden Gems has been pioneering support for dual-career spouses in Finland, helping them build both personal and professional lives in the new country.
Currently, we offer peer groups twice a year and maintain an alumni community for those who have joined our groups. Once a Gem, always a Gem!
