The social and health care reform and COVID-19 pandemic speed up introduction of remote and virtual technologies in rehabilitation. The project creates a higher education network. Its operation and cooperation are not yet established. The network cooperation responds to competence needs resulting from working life changes by strengthening actors’ technical abilities, development skills and multidisciplinary and open cooperation.
The research, education and responsible development of the network cooperation create new, multidisciplinary competence and strengthen success possibilities in international RDI networks of the rehabilitation field. Accessibility, equality and equal participation possibilities are ensured in contents and functions of the studied and developed technical applications. Adolescents’ rehabilitation possibilities are also strengthened with artificial intelligence based virtual technology.
The project aims at gathering together virtual technology, accessibility, rehabilitation and wellbeing experts to produce artificial intelligence based virtual technology competence for rehabilitation professionals and rehabilitees to promote their studying, working and functioning ability. The project allowance is used for starting of a multidisciplinary network, planning of continuance, research, strengthening of competence together with working life and open dissemination of results.
