A New Partnership in Brazil

The (Un)Making Knowledge project has established a new partnership. After receiving funding from the Research Council of Brazil (CNPQ), Prof. Juliene Madureira Ferreira and a team of colleagues Prof. Antônio Zuin, Prof. Luiz Roberto Gomes, Prof. Luiz Lastória, Prof. Ederaldo José Lopes, Postdoc Helga C. Peres, and PhD researcher Juranildo Carvalho will carry out sub-study 3 in the higher education context in Brazil.

Brazil and Finland have significantly different educational systems and approaches to incorporating generative AI into students’ learning ecologies. This new collaboration will provide the opportunity for a cross-cultural analysis of this phenomenon, broadening and deepening our knowledge on how students are engaging knowledge construction when interacting with generative AI.
