Explorative Playground for Performers and Set Designers in Hybrid Space
Cyborg, Avatar, Virtual is a practice-based workshop designed for performers and set design / scenography students who want to explore how bodies, space, and technology interact in contemporary hybrid performance. The workshop focuses on the co-creation of performance and scenography within a hybrid space where physical presence, digital avatars, and virtual environments coexist and influence one another.
Working with motion capture technologies, participants investigate how movement generates space and how space, in turn, shapes performance. Rather than separating acting from scenography, the workshop encourages performers and designers to collaborate closely, treating bodies, environments, and digital tools as interconnected elements of a single performative system.
