MiWaGen-researchers gathered at the 2nd consortium meeting in Tampere 8-9 February 2024

The second in order, but the first on-site consortium meeting of the MiWaGen-project was organized in the Arvo-building of the Tampere University’s Kauppi campus in early February. The two-day event began with a visit to the laboratory, where the members of the consortium had the opportunity to get to know the facilities at Tampere University and the Arvo Farmi deep-freeze sample storage. Other than that, the program included, for example, going through the work packages and goals set for the project. The project members also had plenty of time to socialize freely and get to know each other better. Next time we planned to see the entire group in Kuopio!

MiWaGen researchers at the consortium kick-off meeting in early October, 2023

The kick-off event of the MiWaGen consortium was held as a Teams meeting in 4 October. The program included a presentation of personnel and work packages and a review of the project’s goals and the tools in use. At the beginning of next year, we will get to meet each other in person, because there are plans to organize a consortium meeting on site in Tampere!
