IEM Talks was created to bring these experiences closer to students, researchers, colleagues, alumni, and others interested in the field.
IEM Talks is an interview series from Industrial Engineering and Management at Tampere University. The series introduces people connected to the IEM community and explores how their careers, research interests, and professional experiences have developed over time. The conversations may feature professors, researchers, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, teachers, alumni, industry professionals, and other people whose work is connected to Industrial Engineering and Management.
The interviews focus on the person behind the professional role. Guests are invited to reflect on their academic and professional journey, important decisions, research interests, challenges, achievements, collaborations, and experiences that have influenced their work. The discussions also address current developments in areas such as technology, industry, management, research, education, and working life.
The main purpose of IEM Talks is to make the knowledge and experiences within the IEM community more visible and accessible.
