EduMAP project will have a strong presence at the FERA Conference on Education 2018 at the University of Tampere. This year’s theme of the conference is Virtue, Truth and Beauty in Education.
EduMAP project’s coordinator, Associate Professor Hanna Toivianen and Dr. Katariina Hakala from the Finnish Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are organizing a workshop, Adult Education as a path to social inclusion of vulnerable young people, around EduMAP’s main themes.
In addition, EduMAP’s researcher Paula Kuusipalo and Dr. Jani Siirilä from Haaga-Helia UAS will present their EduMAP inspired paper on young adults’ educational equality, in the session Kasvatussosiologia ja koulutuspolitiikka (in Finnish).
EduMAP will also have a prototype of their current version of the IDSS (intelligent decision support system) meant to aid in adult education related decision making available for testing (in the poster exhibition).
