The projects within the Work & Technology research stream conduct multidisciplinary and longitudinal research to examine how technological change transforms organizations, work practices, professional identities, and the everyday experiences of workers. The stream follows the introduction, implementation, and evolving use of new technologies in workplaces, responding to changing technological trends and innovations. This research aims to identify, anticipate, and understand the organizational, social, ethical, and economic implications of emerging technologies for workplaces and the workforce, including their wider impacts on workers’ wellbeing.
