Fourth wave of the longitudinal WorkAI Survey completed

WorkAI longitudinal survey

The fourth wave of the longitudinal AI Disruption at Work survey was conducted in February–April 2026. The survey followed workers who participated in the first wave. In total, 1,437 respondents completed the fourth wave, corresponding to 68% of the original sample.

The WorkAI project continues to follow how Finnish workers experience the rapid changes brought by artificial intelligence in working life.

The fourth survey wave collected new information on AI use, attitudes toward AI, adaptation to technological change, work well-being, and experiences of AI-related strain and support at work.

The longitudinal design allows the project to examine how employees’ experiences change over time, and how AI use is connected to competence, professional identity, work exhaustion, and organizational support.

The data will be used in ongoing scientific publications and project reporting during 2026.
