The first empirical article utilizing the Finnish Army in World War II Database has been published. Together with Björn Quanjer and Jochem Kruit from Radboud University, the Netherlands, Ilari Taskinen analyzed how anthropometric data collected from Finnish conscripts born 1910–1926 reveal differences in living standards among Finnish social classes, regions and linguistic groups.
