Combined monitoring and diagnostic system
The project focuses on the development of a combined monitoring and diagnostic system to improve operation monitoring of mineral mining and crushing machines – critical elements of production chains.
Executive Summary
The motivation for this project is the urgent need to improve the performance and overall efficiency of machinery used in processing of raw materials. The aim is to extend maintenance intervals and increase operational availability of crushing equipment.
The focus of the project is on updating existing monitoring systems, retrofitting of new components and fusion of available data to assure high performance data processing for reliable decisions. Specific operation of these machines in challenging environments requires new approaches – it is not possible to simply take an existing solution and apply it.
The activities are conducted under the umbrella of EIT RawMaterials within the segment of up-scaling projects.
