The project will be implemented between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2026.
The project coordinated by Tampere University of Applied Sciences aims to improve the quality of family services in order to narrow the welfare differences and reduce inequality caused by the background of immigrant children.
During the project families of immigrant children, family service professionals (social and health services, early childhood education) and 3rd sector operators work together to achieve the goals of Niitty 2 -project.
In the project, the everyday needs of families with immigrant children are identified, guidance material and know-how are created for those working with families and for self-study of immigrants. The guidance material is collected in the Perheinfo portal for all available. The long term aim of the project is to improve welfare and integration of the immigrant families.
Visit also the Perheinfo portal to familiarize yourself with the guidance material. A big part of the material is translated or spoken in different languages (in English, Arabic, Persian and Somali).
