The MIRO project aims at commercialization of technology developed in previous university research. The main objective is to provide a solution to key visibility issues in the operation of heavy mobile work machines.
MIRO builds upon a Tekes-funded project, Digital See-through Structures for Work Machines, which was carried out in 2016-2017. The SeeWork project resulted in a concept that removes virtually visual barriers in the work machine context by utilizing camera and display technologies and modern signal processing and 3D imaging methods.
