About me
PhD Sofia Lahti is an art historian. In her doctoral dissertation, she studied existing and lost reliquaries in the Nordic countries. Her other main field of expertise is in the research, curation and maintenance of photographic collections, with which she works at the Finnish Museum of Photography. Lahti works as a joint postdoctoral researcher in the Lived Religion in Medieval Finland – and Mapping Lived Religion: Medieval Cults of Saints in Sweden and Finland -projects. She maps and analyses medieval artefacts with visual or written references to saints, found from the collections of Finnish regional museums.
