Data collection in the KOHTA project – for the participant In English
Why is your information collected?
The KOHTA project collects participant data so that we can monitor and assess the impacts of the project. The information is also part of the statutory reporting to the funder (ESF+).
The regulations require that the controller must report to the EU the number of persons who have participated in the projects, which will be stored in the EURA 2021 information system of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. All data is reported only at the sum level. An individual person cannot be identified from the reportable data. In order to fulfil the statutory reporting obligation, personal data are released to Statistics Finland for the purpose of compiling statistical data. The information to be reported will be used to find out what kind of results the projects have achieved in Finland.
How do you provide your information to the project?
At the project’s events and activities organised for the target group, a signed list of participants is collected from the participants (signed by the participant themselves) to ensure and verify attendance in the project’s activities.
You need to fill form in the EURA 2021 system at the link below. Please note that you only fill the form when participating and getting instructions from the project staff.
Please notice that the project code S31390 must be filled in on the form.
Log in with Suomi.fi identification (online banking codes, mobile certificate or certificate card). Enter your information at the start and end of the project.
You can also find more detailed instructions at the end of this text as a downloadable PDF file.
How your data is stored if you are unable to do it yourself
If you do not have the opportunity to save your own participation data in the EURA 2021 system, please inform the project implementer about this. The project implementer will help you store your data in the system. You will need to verify your identity to the project promoter before storing your data.
How is the information used?
The data will only be used for the implementation and reporting of the KOHTA project. The data will not be disclosed to third parties without a legal basis, and it will not be transferred outside the EU/EEA. How do you keep your data safe? The data is stored in the EURA 2021 system, which uses strong authentication and an encrypted connection. Only the people in charge of the project can see your information.
