Research outputs and activities of the Supervisor

Research group

The Surface Science Laboratory is conducting surface and interface physics of 2D semiconductors for photonics applications such as hybrid solar cells and high-efficiency multijunction solar cells.

Research infrastructure

Surface Science Laboratory features surface and interface analysis facilities for Spectromicroscopy system with Photoemission electron microscopy (PEEM), Small spot spectroscopy XPS/UPS, Energy-filtered imaging XPS/UPS, Chemical mapping, Momentum microscopy in k-space spectroscopy. Atomic Layer Deposition system for growing thin films such as TiO2 and Al2O3 thin films as well as growing metallic nanoparticles. We also exhibit the expertise to conduct synchrotron light mediated spectroscopy experiments utilizing the MAX IV Laboratory facilities in Sweden.
