Research in cryptography (PQC algorithms, advanced protocols, cryptanalysis), and technical information security. Industrial experience with the implementation of secure microchips (side-channel and fault-injection countermeasures, entropy sources). Chair of Cryptography SIG at RISC-V International, Research areas: SoC system infrastructure (PCB), SiP integration.

Research group

The Information Security Laboratory (and the NISEC Research Group) focuses on technical information security, with a sizeable research focus in applied cryptography. Other core competencies of NISEC are: Network Security, IoT Security, Hardware-Assisted Security, and Privacy and Usable Security.
