The audience was asked, among others, which of the given three options would be the best way to prevent gender-based violence that takes place in school contexts: legislation, sex education and human rights’ education or upbringing in homes? The vast majority saw the role of schools to be important. However, this does not mean that school professionals would have the responsiblity alone. On the contrary, they deserve the full support of other actors in the society, such as health care, social services, justice system – and private citizents.
