The task ‘Communicative ecologies in adult education’, investigated the role of information and communication processes in shaping aspects of access, inclusion and engagement in adult education (AE) for young people at risk of social exclusion. It aimed to shed light on interconnections and mismatches between the supply and use side of AE, identify critical points related to information and communication practices and ways of addressing them for making AE more inclusive and effective in cultivating active participatory citizenship (APC) for young people in situations of vulnerability or risk.
The full report, Communicative Ecologies in Adult Education, will soon be published. Meanwhile, we would like to share the illustrated key findings of the report. All illustrations by Aino Sutinen. Click on the images to enlarge!
