The aim of this report is to provide and overview of research and policy development in adult education (AE) and lifelong learning (LLL) of 28 European Union (EU) member states (and Turkey) as well as to investigate the effectiveness of AE for engaging and involving young adults aged 16-30 in political, social and economic participation.
