The implementation of the BUKA project had an unexpected turn in March 2020 due to the worldwide Covid-pandemic. Since the project team was not able to organise the planned physical meetings, the team agreed on a set of activities to be carried out online. For instance, an extensive series of online seminars has been organised forming the training element of the project.
Due to the exceptional circumstances, also the project duration was extended by one year, until November 2023.
The BUKA team is hopeful to meet face to face during 2022 or 2023, and in the meantime, the various online activities are continuing as planned.
