Piotr Kluska was born in Poland, in 1993. He received the B.Sc. In computer science from the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland in 2017, the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in 2019. From 2015 to 2019, he was with intive, Wrocław, Poland. From 2019 to 2020, he was with AXA XL, Wrocław, Poland. From 2020 to 2021, he was with Outra, London, UK. He is currently a pre-doctoral researcher at IBM Research, Zürich, Switzerland, enrolled at Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, Spain under supervision of Professor Enrique S. Quintana-Orti within APROPOS ITN.

About me

Sudam Wasala was born on May 18, 1993 in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. He received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree, in the field of Computer Systems Engineering, from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Malabe, Sri Lanka in 2016. He completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree, in the field of Computer Science, at the University of Siegen, Siegen, Germany in 2021.

About me

Seyed Ahmad Mirsalari was born on Feb. 14th, 1994 in Ramhormoz city, Khuzestan province, Iran. He received his B.Sc. in Computer engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology in 2016, and his M.Sc. in Computer Architecture from the University of Tehran in 2020. His research interests include Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, and Neural Networks Hardware Accelerator Design. In recent years, He has worked on energy-efficient accelerators for deep neural networks. More specifically, his research was to develop a framework to use approximate computing to improve the efficiency of deep neural networks on FPGA.

About me

Dewant Katare have received B.Sc (July 2016) in Electronics Information Engineering from Saxion University of Applied Science, Netherlands and M.S. (December 2019) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Purdue University, USA with a thesis dedicated to Deep Learning Applications on Autonomous Vehicles using Embedded Platform. The thesis explored applications related to perception using sensors data and development of model for real-time deployment for level 3 autonomy. During this period I was also member of IoT & Embedded systems Lab and have worked on projects related to Industrial internet of Things (IIoT) and Wireless communication protocols with implementation of data compression on dedicated hardware.

Saba Yousefzadeh received a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Iran, in 2017. Lev Denisov was born in Udomlya, Russia, in 1992. In 2014 he received the Specialist degree in the field of Information Technologies in Design from Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Saint-Petersburg, Russia. In 2019 he received his Erasmus Mundus M.Sc. joint degree in the field of Big Data Management and Analytics (BDMA) from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels, Belgium, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain, and Technische Universität Berlin (TUB) in Berlin, Germany. In 2021 he joined Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) in Milan, Italy to continue his study for Ph.D in Computer Science.

About me

Salar Shakibhamedan was born in Tehran, Iran in 1992. He received the B.Sc. Degree in electrical engineering from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2015 and the M.Sc. Degree in electrical engineering, focused on multimodal signal processing from the same university, in 2018. During his studies, he explored the field of machine learning and found it as one his interests in addition to digital signal processing. He was a machine learning/digital signal processing engineer at the PART AI research center from 2020 to 2021, working on different large-scale AI-based projects and services. Moreover he worked as research assistant on computer vision projects and also was teaching assistant for digital signal processing, advanced digital signal processing and digital image processing courses.

About me

Tiago Troccoli received BSc. and MSc. in Computer Science at the University of São Paulo and the University of Campinas in Brazil, respectively. He is currently an Early Stage Researcher responsible for pioneering the novel generation of indoor localization systems based on the direction of arrival (DOA). That research project comprises overcoming the challenges of implementing complex numerical methods in Internet of Things networks composed of constrained embedded systems. It involves a collaborative effort between the industry (Wirepas) and academia (Tampere University) which is supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement.
