Last week the first Summer School of APROPOS took place in Valencia, Spain. It was held at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) under the organization of Enrique Salvador Quintana Ortí. The school lasted from Monday 26.09.2022 to Friday 30.09.2022.
The school opened on the first day with the ESRs presenting their current research status, providing the opportunity for ESRs to explain their studies in more detail their topics. The following days focused on various subjects related to both technical and managerial aspects of the Ph.D. During these days, ESRs finally had the chance to meet in person and socialize. This was a chance to exchange experiences with students and discuss future collaboration topics for their research projects.
The next in-person event is planned for March 2023, during the Winter School, this time happening in Zurich, Switzerland.
