New policy brief about unemployment, political violence and protests

Kari Paasonen, doctoral researcher at the ‘What Works’ project, has published a policy brief studying Middle Eastern and North African youth and the relationship between unemployment, political violence and protestes. The policy brief ‘Does Unemployment Drive Political Violence and Protest? Focusing On the Case of Middle Eastern and North African Youth’ was published by the Peace Resarch Institute Oslo, in the Conflict Trends series.
