In October 2024, Rosi Enroos and Jenni Repo from VaVa-project visited Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. They met with Senior Research Specialist Åsa Norman and her team at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience. Norman is leading a project Development and evaluation of an intervention for children with incarcerated parents and their non-incarcerated caregivers in Sweden. During the visit, discussions were held on topics such as research methods, the situations of prisoners’ children and their parents in Finland and Sweden, and the identification of prisoners’ families in social services.
