We are thrilled to share that the VaVa-project has been highlighted in the latest edition of the Children of Prisoners Europe (COPE) newsletter. This recognition underscores the importance of our research.

Our project was mentioned thanks to our collaboration with Life without crime (RETS), a member of the COPE network. COPE is a European network dedicated to supporting children with imprisoned parents, advocating for their rights, and promoting best practices across Europe.

Networking highlights

Additionally, our team has been actively engaging with various stakeholders. Recently, we participated in a network meeting for professionals working with individuals with a criminal background, held at Aito Activity Center on March 25, 2025. We also facilitated discussions between researchers and practitioners at the “Perlantai” event organized by the Tampere Centre for Childhood, Youth and Family Research (PERLA) at Tampere University February 21, 2025.
