Aija visited Rebecca in Oxford, focusing together on the analysis. In turn, Rebecca visited us in Finland in the fall and joined our retreat to Hämeenlinna. We used our retreat efficiently doing data-sessions and progressing our writing. Furthermore, we had some time to enjoy the Finnish cultural aspects such as the sauna and palju.
We have had continuous data-sessions in the monthly Touch & Affect general data sessions, and in sub-groups.

In cooperation with the International Society for Conversation Analysis (ISCA), Elliott Hoey (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), Chase Raymond (University of Colorado, Boulder), and Alexandra Gubina are editing the tentatively-titled Encyclopedia of Terminology for Conversation Analysis and Interactional Linguistics—an online resource for students and scholars that will be publicly available on the EMCA Wiki page. For this wiki, we have created entries on Affective stance, Empathy, the Display of empathy and Affect and Emotion.
