The Svenska upp project is a Swedish language development initiative for higher education students, funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. The aim of the project is to provide students in higher education with opportunities to improve their Swedish language skills, so that they will be better prepared to complete the Swedish studies required for their degree. The learning materials developed within the project are intended for both university and university of applied sciences students, particularly those at language proficiency levels A1–A2. The project is being developed in collaboration with teaching staff from four Finnish universities of applied sciences and six universities.
