Élise Féron presents her research on WWI missing at conference in Seoul

Our PI Élise Féron recently presented the preliminary results of her research on the missing of the WWI Western Front at the annual conference of the International Association for Reconciliation Studies, held in Seoul on July 14-18. Her presentation, titled “Disappearances and Postwar Reconciliation: The Missing of the WWI’s Western Front”, focused on the long-term impact of disappearances on post-war reconciliation processes. It attracted a lot of questions and interest, especially in a country, South Korea, that has itself experienced the issue during the Korean War (1950-1953).
