Power from Chips -Sustainable competitiveness and attraction for Pirkanmaa region through chip technology
The ERDF project “Power from Chips – sustainable competitiveness and attraction for Pirkanmaa through chip technology” strengthens research, development and innovation (RDI) related to chip technologies in Pirkanmaa and helps companies make use of the opportunities provided by the EU’s chip initiatives (EU Chips Act). The aim is to improve the region’s competitiveness, strengthen security of supply in critical technologies, and accelerate new cooperation and business opportunities.
The project develops the utilisation of chip research infrastructures, supports companies and research organisations in accessing EU-funded chip projects, and expands and strengthens the chip ecosystem together with regional and international actors.
Project period: 1 January 2025 – 31 May 2027
