The Nordic Network for Genetic Counselling (NNGC) brings together universities and university hospitals across the Nordic countries to strengthen genetic counselling education and capacity in the region. Supported by NordPlus and Nordic Council of Ministers funding, the network is jointly developing a Nordic MSc in Genetic Counselling that aligns with international standards and Nordic priorities for sustainability, equity, and educational quality. The programme uses a collaborative model with shared responsibility, distributed teaching, and national clinical placements. The planned Nordic MSc, expected to launch in 2027, demonstrates how cross‑border collaboration can support workforce development in highly specialized fields such as precision medicine.
