Background

According to the Higher Education Barometer (2013-2014), 31% of university students are moving enough. In addition to direct health effects, exercising has a lot of positive effects on mental health, such as reduction of depression. (Ansala 2011, 143; Miettinen & Kunttu 2011, 198-199).

Aim and tasks

The aim of the project is to build a well-being path for inactive students or those at risk of exclusion and to ensure customer-oriented operation by utilizing the students’ expertise in project implementation. The project focuses on the introduction of a sporting approach in the higher education community.
