Last week, our project attended the seventh Finnish Conference of History Research, held at the University of Jyväskylä.

On Friday afternoon, the members of the team introduced the project in a joint session with presentations by Olli (The impact of macro-level trends and turning points on the Finnish swine husbandry), Hilja (The emergence of Finnish landrace swine in the context of livestock breeding trends in the early 20th century), and Marja (Landrace hog Pommi, 1917-1924, as an object and an actor in the midst of agromodernization).

Presentations were followed by a lively discussion and the team would like to thank the audience for the attendance and supportive remarks!
