Background
The Meaningful Digital Evolution (MDE) project investigates how the ongoing digital transformation affects the experienced meaningfulness of work and productivity in the technology sector.
Goal
The MDE consortium aims to to develop functional working methods and AI-based digital tools in collaboration with the involved companies that streamline work processes and allow professionals to concentrate on their core tasks, increasing the meaningfulness of their work and their productivity.
Impact
The outcomes of this project have the potential to create significant work life-related impact. Development of AI-based digital tools that streamline work processes and reduce work fragmentation and technostress will significantly increase the competitiveness of the Finnish economy.

The project is funded by Business Finland.

The project is led by Tampere University and University of Jyväskylä and industry partners are Kone, Acolad Finland, Coresbond, Demola Global, Specim, Finnish Technical Communication Society (STVY) and European Association for Technical Communication (tekom Europe).
