New Hidden Gems Coordinator

We are pleased to announce the hire of our new project coordinator Thanida Dharmajiva, a Hidden Gems alumni.

Could you introduce yourself?
Hi! I am Thanida, a Thai project coordinator and Hidden Gems Alumni. I have my background in university management, education, and communications. You can connect and get to know me more through Linkedin. As a person, I am caring, friendly and goal-oriented. My hobbies are reading, taking care of plants, dog walking and meeting new people!

Tell us a bit about your life journey in Finland?
In 2016, I came to Finland to pursue my masterโ€™s study in Higher Education Management at Tampere University. Two years later, the journey led me to meet my Finnish husband and settle down in Finland.

How was your time as a Hidden Gems Alumni?
As a Hidden Gems Alumni, I am thankful that the Hidden Gems project helped me prepare for job interviews, expand my network and improved my communication skills.

What is your role as a project coordinator?
My role is to help maximize Hidden Gems member’s potential and achieve what matters to them. My goal is to help Gems adjusting well to their lives in Finland. As a Hidden Gems project coordinator, I feel grateful that I received trust from the team in supporting international spouses in Finland. I am honored to be part of the team which makes positive impacts on society.

What would you like to tell Hidden Gems participants?
I believe that your hard work will pay off if you commit and actively participate in the programme. I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and to join social or business communities in Tampere city. Having more networks in Finland will help you feel more like home here.
