ITK 2025-Exploring Digital Literacy & Digitalization in Higher Education

📌 Presentation Type: Poster
🎯 Target Audience: University leaders, faculty, planners, and coordinators

Higher education is undergoing a profound transformation due to two key factors: the rapid shift to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education. Monitoring these changes is essential to ensure the sustainable and effective integration of digital technologies.

Our poster, based on two Erasmus+ GOT project studies in Ghana (2023–2024), explores the relationship between digital literacy, self-efficacy, and technology adoption in higher education. Key findings reveal disparities in digital skills, the impact of technology on work-life balance, and the challenges of AI integration in learning environments. Additionally, we examine how digital habits, institutional norms, and AI governance shape faculty and student experiences.

The discussion offers practical insights and policy recommendations to support the development of a balanced and inclusive digital education framework.

📅 Join us at ITK 2025 in Tampere (April 23–25) to explore our findings!
