The ninth data collection wave (T9) of the Gambling in the Digital Age survey has now been successfully completed.
At this time point, we received responses from 790 participants, representing 52% of the original T1 cohort (n = 1530). In addition, 1023 new respondents joined the study at T9, further strengthening the dataset and expanding opportunities for future analyses. Importantly, the data continues to match the Finnish adult population, supporting the generalisability and relevance of the findings.
The continued engagement of long-term participants, combined with the recruitment of new respondents, provides a valuable basis for both longitudinal and cross-sectional research on gambling behaviour in the digital age.
The survey will continue at least until the end of 2027, enabling the project to track developments and emerging trends over time. Findings from the T9 data will be reported in future publications.
