eTraining FinPal project was presented in the Adult Education Conference (Aikuiskasvatuksen tutkimuspäivät) organized by the Finnish Society for Research on Adult Education in cooperation with the University of Eastern Finland. The conference was held in Joensuu campus of the University of Eastern Finland on 15.-16. February 2018. The conference theme was Edification, citizenship and involvement in decaying welfare society, with special focus on the role of adult education in promoting social fairness, equality, and citizenship when dealing with challenges of the changing society. The conference gathered more than 200 adult education researchers and practitioners in Finland.
Pauliina Alenius and Vesna Holubek, representing the University of Tampere project team, held a presentation within a conference track Diversity in learning and work (Moninaisuus oppimisessa ja työssä). The presentation addressed the eTraining FinPal project goals and implementation progress as well as the preliminary research results of the survey and interviews with the IUG academics.
