The project was presented in Pedaforum conference in Finland

eTraining FinPal project was presented in Pedaforum conference held on 5-6 June 2019 at University of Helsinki, Finland. Pedaforum gathers experts in teaching, supervision and academic administration as well as higher education students and others interested in higher education teaching. The theme for Pedaforum 2019 was The State of Learning – Quo vadis, universitas? Presentations and workshops organised across six sub-themes focussed on latest research and sharing good practices in university pedagogy.  The conference gathered around 650 researchers and practitioners in Finland.

Vesna Holubek and Pauliina Alenius, representing the Tampere University project team, held a presentation within a conference sub-theme Openness and accessibility of education. Holubek and Alenius presented the eTraining FinPal project and shared the project team’s experiences with organising an online training programme. They presented the benefits, challenges and good practices of the online training of trainers organised as a pedagogical professional development programme for Palestinian academics.
